The Linaro Platform team is pleased to announce the 2014.12 release of the Linux Linaro.

Interesting changes include:

  • based on linux-linaro-core-tracking tree, llct-20141208.0 tag:
    • based on v3.18 release
    • updated linaro-android topic.
    • gator topic: version 5.20 (same version as in 2014.11)
    • config fragments updated:
      • SELinux related config options enabled in linaro-base.conf
      • device tree runtime self tests enabled in distribution.conf
  • updated topic from Qualcomm LT (ifc6410 board support)
  • updated integration-linaro-vexpress64 topic by ARM LT (FVP Base and Foundation models, and Juno support)
  • using mainline support for Arndale and Arndale-octa boards this cycle
  • updated llvm topic (the community llvmlinux-latest branch)
  • ILP32 patch set v3 rebased onto 3.18. Boot tested with aarch64 userland. No tests with aarch64-ilp32 userland yet.

Known issues

  • LP: #1128761 WiFi is unavailable on TI Panda 4430 with Linux Linaro ubuntu image
